The Miss Kansas Volunteer Pageant is excited to bring forth a “little sister” and mentoring program with our Honeybee Program for kids ages 4-13!
Our Honeybees will be fully integrated into pageant weekend! We will kick off the weekend at the arrival ceremony where each princess will be introduced and receive a special goodie bag for the weekend, from the Miss Kansas Volunteer Board. They will then be the first in line to get autographs from the contestants and ride the famous carousel. Followed by a dance party, where they will be invited to do crafts and dance the night away (for 2 hours) with the contestants. Saturday, they will have rehearsal time and a fun community service project, before hitting the big stage for competition. They will also join the contestants for donuts and a service project pageant weekend, where they will learn the importance of working together and giving back to those in need. They will also learn about what each point of their crown stands for - H.O.N.E.Y. Our honeybee program is designed as an opportunity to have fun, spend time with our contestants and experience the magic of being on the BIG STAGE.
The entry fee for a Honeybee Princess is $150 and will cover the cost of the weekend’s activities, the official Miss Kansas Volunteer princess crown, t-shirt, and special gifts while in attendance. Your princess will have a blast and we hope you join our sisterhood today! (Please note that parent tickets are not included and will go live September 1st through EventBrite)
