The 2024 Miss Kansas & Miss Kansas Teen Scholarship Pageant is scheduled to be held at Leavenworth High School on September 29th, 2024.

Help us kick off the competition weekend as we welcome contestants and visitors to Leavenworth during our Arrival Ceremony at the C.W. Parker Carousel Museum. Enjoy meeting our contestants and finish off the evening riding the amazing, historic carousel.

During pageant weekend, the Miss Kansas Volunteer organization will hold the Honeybee Princess Academy. Contestants are a vital part of this project, as they are given the opportunity to meet and mentor all of our honeybee princesses, during the weekend and through the academy.

The Miss Kansas Volunteer Organization is built upon a foundation of volunteerism. Therefore, during pageant weekend, all of the contestants are invited and encouraged to participate in a service project in the city of Leavenworth. In order to meet sponsors, give back to the community and learn the importance of service.

Each year, we kick off night one of pageant weekend with our pajama party! The princesses and contestants are all invited to the host hotel for a night of fun, dancing, snacks, and activities. This is a great way for the contestants to mingle and relax before a long and fun weekend of competition!

The interview competition consists of a 10-minute private interview with a panel of judges. This is your chance to share your personality, achievements, aspiration and showcase why you are the best fit for the job of Miss Kansas Volunteer.

Miss contestants will wear a swimsuit of their choice for the fitness & wellness competition to showcase the contestant’s wellness and wellbeing. The judges take into consideration the contestant’s confidence on stage, display of charisma, as well as the contestant’s dedication to mind-body balance.

The talent competition is your opportunity to showcase a skill that is unique to YOU! We encourage you to think outside of the box and focus on entertaining your audience.

The evening gown competition is designed to showcase the contestant’s confidence and composure. The focus will not be on the dress itself, but rather the ability of the gown to highlight a contestant’s personality and poise.
